Holi-The festival of Colour
Holi is a festival of colors, a festival of happiness, it is said that in ancient times there used to be a king named Hiranyakashyap who considered himself so powerful that he started torturing his people to worship him, who did not believe in him as God, he was sentenced to death. He had a sister whose name was Holika,The boon of non-burning was received, while the king also had a boon that neither an animal nor a human could kill him, nor any weapon could kill him, nor any mantra could kill him, neither on the ground, nor in the sky, nor in the day. Neither in the night. That tyrannical king had a son whose name was Prahlad, he was the supreme devotee of Lord Vishnu, when Even after many efforts of the king, Prahlad did not stop worshiping God, then the king ordered his sister Holika to take Prahlad in her lap and sit in the fire. But this could not happen, the child Prahlad survived even while sitting on lap of Holika. She was burnt herself, in the end Lord Vishnu incarnated as Narasimha who was half lion and half man and made the king lie on his lap and killed him by ripping his stomach with his nails in the evening. That's why people first do Holika Dahan in which they burn their bad things, someone throws mole and someone else, there is a simple message that Holika Dahan destroys one's bad habits, bad behavior, jealousy, greed. Holi is the name of putting every evilness in the same fire to ashes.Such a beautiful message and story is behind this festival, but feel disappointment when some people consume alcohal even in this beautiful festival, lose consciousness, some fall into the drain, some misbehave with others,They play music that hurts the sentiments of other religions. This is a festival to spread the color of love, a festival of eating gujhiya dipped in syrup of harmony, a festival of forgetting mutual hatred and embracing each other.
Come on lets play Holi with its real sense.
